Usino Bundi MP Anton Yagama has urged Usino Bundi students in Divine Word University to study hard.

Mr Yagama said the development of human resource in the district was one of his top priorities, and he wanted to see them do well.

He urged the students to learn as much as they could, because education was the only key to success in life.

“We want to change the statistics of illiteracy in Usino Bundi, therefore we have invested K4 million into education for Usino Bundi tertiary students every year.  Strive hard and continue to do your best, we want to move from the stone age into the sky.”

The Usino Bundi Tertiary Scholarship Program started in 2014, and many students from the district have benefited from it.

Usino Bundi Students Association President Ninkama Kupe thanked the MP for his assistance because it had eased the burden of many parents who had struggled to pay fees.
